بخش یا رحمٰنُ میں ہوں خوارتر
یا رَحِیُم مہربانی مجھ پہ کر

Forgive me, O Rahman, for I am wretched;

خلق ہے یا مالکُ کہتی تجھے

امن دے یامومنُ مجھ کو سدا
یامُھیِمنُ ہو نگہباں تو میرا
Aman De Ya Moomin Mujh Ko Sada
Ya Muhaymin Ho Nigehbaan Tu Mera

یا عَزیزُ میرے دشمن ہوویں سست
کام یا جَبّارُ میرے کر درست
Ya Aziz Mere Dushman Howein Sust
Kaam Ya Jabbar Mere Kar Durust

کن سے یا باَرِیُ تو پیدا کرے

Kun Se Ya Baari Tu Paida Kare
Ya Musawwir Surat-o-Fitrat Gare

بخش یا غَفّا رُ عصیاں سر بسر
نفس پر غالب تو یا قَہّارُ کر
Bakhsh Ya Ghaffar Isyan Sar Ba Sar
Nafs Par Ghalib Tu Ya Qahhar Kar
O Ghaffar, forgive my transgressions completely;
O Qahhar, grant me mastery over my base self.
بے عوض تو رزق یا وہّاب دے
رزق یا رزّاق دے دو قسم کے
Be-Iwaz Tu Rizq Ya Wahhab De

کھول یا فتّاحُ تو روزی کا در

تنگ کر یا قاَبِضُ ہر شے پلید
رزق کر یا بَاسِطُ طیب مزید

پست ہوں یا حَافِضُ دشمن میرے
دے مجھے یاَ رافِعُ رتبے بڑے
Past Hon Ya Khaafiz Dushman Mere
De Mujhe Ya Raafi Rutbe Barhe
O Khaafiz, let my enemies be brought low;
O Raafi, grant me exalted and high ranks.
یا معزُ مجھ کو عزت کر عطا
یا مُذِلُ مجھ کو ذلت سے بچا
Ya Mu’izz Mujh Ko Izzat Kar Ata
Ya Muzill Mujh Ko Zillat Se Bacha
O Mu’izz, bestow honor upon me;
O Muzill, save me from all disgrace.
یا سَمیعُ سن میری فریاد کو
یا بَصیرُ دیکھ مجھ ناشاد کو
Ya Sami Sun Meri Faryad Ko
Ya Baseer Dekh Mujh Na-Shaad Ko

یا حَاکِمُ حکم پر اپنے چلا

Ya Hakam Hukm Par Apne Chala
Dar Hai Ya Aadil Tere Insaaf Ka

یا حَلیمُ بردباری کر عطا
یا عَظیُم ہے توئی سب سے بڑا

O Hafeez, protect me from all calamities;

یا حَسیِبُ سہل ہو مجھ پر حساب
یا جَلیل تو بڑا عالی جناب
Ya Haseeb Sahl Ho Mujh Par Hisab
Ya Jaleel Tu Barha Aali Janab
O Haseeb, make my final reckoning easy;
O Jaleel, You are the Master of high majesty.
یا کَریمُ تو سخی محتاج سب
یا رَقیبُ تو نگہباں روزوشب
Ya Kareem Tu Sakhi Muhtaaj Sab
Ya Raqeeb Tu Nigehbaan Roz-o-Shab
O Kareem, You are the Giver, we are all needy;
O Raqeeb, You watch over me by day and night.
یا مجیب کر دعا میری قبول
دین و دنیا میں نہ کر مجھ کو ملول
Ya Mujeeb Kar Dua Meri Qabool
Deen-o-Duniya Mein Na Kar Mujh Ko Malool
O Mujeeb, accept my sincere supplication;
Do not let me be sorrowful in this world or the next.
علم کر یا وَاسعُ مجھ پر فراخ
بعدِ مُردن قبر میری ہووے کاخ
Ilm Kar Ya Waasi Mujh Par Farakh
Baad-e-Murdan Qabr Meri Howe Kaakh
O All-Embracing (Waasi), expand my knowledge;
After death, let my grave become a palace.
یا حکیم تو ہے دانائے عمل
یا وَدُودُ تو محب بے بدل
Ya Hakeem Tu Hai Dana-e-Amal
Ya Wadood Tu Muhib-e-Be-Badal
O Hakeem, You are the Knower of all deeds;
O Wadood, You are the peerless and loving Beloved.
یا مُجِیدُ ذات میں ہے تو بڑا
قبر سے یا باَعثُ مومن اٹھا
Ya Majeed Zaat Mein Hai Tu Barha
Qabr Se Ya Baais Moomin Utha
O Majeed, Your being is vast and glorious;
O Baais, raise this believer from the dust of the grave.
یا شَہیدُ حاضرو آگاہ کل
تو ہی ہے یا حَقُ شہنشاہ کل
Ya Shaheed Haazir-o-Aagah-e-Kul
Tu Hi Hai Ya Haq Shehanshah-e-Kul
O Shaheed, ever-present and aware of all things;
O Haq, You are the absolute King of all existence.
یا وَکَیلُ کار ساز بیکساں
یا قَویُ قوت بے مایئگاں
Ya Wakeel Kar-Saaz-e-Bekasan
Ya Qawi Quwwat-e-Be-Maaygan
O Wakeel, settler of affairs for the helpless;
O Qawi, the source of immense and infinite power.
یا متینُ دین پر رکھ استوار
یا وَلِیُ کر مدد لیل و نہار
Ya Mateen Deen Par Rakh Istawar
Ya Wali Kar Madad Lail-o-Nihar
O Mateen, keep me steadfast and firm in faith;
O Wali, provide Your assistance to me day and night.
یا حَمیُد حمد ہے تیری سدا
تو ہے یا محُصِیُ محیط ما سوا
Ya Hameed Hamd Hai Teri Sada
Tu Hai Ya Muhsi Muheet-e-Ma-Siwa
O Hameed, Your praise is celebrated eternally;
O Muhsi, You encompass everything other than Yourself.
پہلے بھی یا مبدُ پیدا کیا
یا مُعید ُتو ہی ہے مرجع ہوا
Pehle Bhi Ya Mubdi Paida Kiya
Ya Mueed Tu Hi Hai Marja Hua
O Mubdi, You initiated creation at the beginning;
O Mueed, all things eventually return to You.
زندہ یا محی ہوں جبتک شاد رکھ
جب مروں میں یا ممیت یاد رکھ
Zinda Ya Muhyi Hon Jab Tak Shad Rakh
Jab Marun Main Ya Mumeet Yaad Rakh
O Muhyi, gladden my life while I am alive;
O Mumeet, grant me peace when I face death.
تو ہی یا حَیی ُزندہ ہے تا ابد
تو ہی یا قیومُ قائم ہے احد
Tu Hi Ya Hayyu Zinda Hai Ta-Abad
Tu Hi Ya Qayyum Qayam Hai Ahad
O Hayy, You are the one who lives forever;
O Qayyum, You sustain and maintain the Universe.
رکھ غنی مجھ کو سدا یا وَاجدُ
سب بڑائی تجھ کو ہے یا مَاجدُ
Rakh Ghani Mujh Ko Sada Ya Waajid
Sab Barhai Tujh Ko Hai Ya Maajid
O Waajid, make me self-sufficient forever;
O Maajid, all honor and glory belong to You.
ہے تویئ یا دَاحدُ عالی صفات
یا احَدُ مطلق یگانہ پاک ذات
Hai To-ee Ya Waahid Aali Sifaat
Ya Ahad Mutlaq Yagana Paak Zaat
O Waahid, high in sublime attributes;
O Ahad, the absolute, peerless, and pure Essence.
یا صَمد ہے سب کو تیری جستجو
سب تیرے محتاج بے پرواہ ہے تو
Ya Samad Hai Sab Ko Teri Justuju
Sab Tere Muhtaaj Be-Parwah Hai Tu
O Samad, all of creation seeks You;
All are dependent on You, while You are independent.
نفس پر یا قاَدرُ قادر رہوں
اس طرح یا مقتدر نادر ہوں
Nafs Par Ya Qadir Qadir Rahun
Is Tarah Ya Muqtadir Nadir Hun
O Qadir, let me master my inner soul;
O Muqtadir, make me rare and firm in this endeavor.
یا مُقدمُ ہووے اگلوں میں گزر
یا موخِر پیچھے والوں میں نہ کر
Ya Muqaddim Howe Aglon Mein Guzar
Ya Mo’akhir Peechay Walon Mein Na Kar
O Muqaddim, place me among the foremost ones;
Do not let my end be among those left behind.
ہے توئی یا اَولُ اول قدیم
پھر توئی یا آخِرُ ہو گا مقیم
Hai To-ee Ya Awwal Awwal Qadeem
Phir To-ee Ya Aakhir Ho Ga Muqeem
O Awwal, You are the very first and ancient;
O Aakhir, You alone will remain when all fades.
سب پہ تو یا ظَاہرُ ظاہر ہوا
تیری صفتوں سے ہر اک ماہر ہوا
Sab Pe Tu Ya Zaahir Zaahir Hua
Teri Sifaton Se Har Ik Maahir Hua
O Zaahir, You are apparent and manifest to all;

وہم سے یا باطن تو پا ک ہے
عقل کو تیرا کہاں ادراک ہے
Veham Se Ya Baatin Tu Paak Hai
Aqal Ko Tera Kahan Idraak Hai
O Baatin, You are beyond all imagination;
Our human intellect cannot truly comprehend You.
تو ہے یا وَالی ِولی بندگاں
کار سازومالک ہر دو جہاں
Tu Hai Ya Waali Wali Bandagan
Kar-Saaz o Maalik Har Do Jahan
O Waali, the Guardian of Your servants;
The Settler and Master of both the worlds.
تیرا یا متعالِی ہے رتبہ کمال
کس طرح یا بر ہو تیری مثال
Tera Ya Muta’ali Hai Rutba-e-Kamal
Kis Tarah Ya Barr Ho Teri Misaal
O Muta’ali, Your station is absolute perfection;
O Barr, how could there ever be a match for You?
میری یا تَوابُ توبہ کر قبول
رحم کر یا مُنعِمُ میں ہوں ملول
Meri Ya Tawwab Tauba Kar Qabool
Rehm Kar Ya Mun’im Main Hun Malool
O Tawwab, accept my repentance graciously;
Have mercy, O Mun’im, for I am deeply distressed.
یا عَفوُ کر گناہ سے درگزر
یا رَوفُ ہو عنایئت کی نظر
Ya Afuwu Kar Gunah Se Darguzar
Ya Raoofu Ho Inayat Ki Nazar
O Afuwu, overlook my many sins;
O Raoof, look upon me with an eye of favor.
مَالکُ الُملکْ ہے صحیح یہ تیرا نام
دے مجھے اَقْلیِم میں عالی مقام
Maalik-ul-Mulk Hai Sahi Yeh Tera Naam
De Mujhe Iqleem Mein Aali Maqaam
O Maalik-ul-Mulk, this is truly Your name;
Grant me a noble station in Your kingdom.
ذُوالجلال ہے اور والاکرام ہے
دے مجھے جنت کہ تیرا کام ہے
Zul-Jalali Hai Aur Wal-Ikram Hai
De Mujhe Jannat Ke Tera Kaam Hai
O Zul-Jalali wal-Ikram, Majestic and Generous;
Bestow Paradise upon me, for it is Yours to give.
عدل سے یا مُقسِتُ ڈرتا ہوں میں
فضل کی امید بس کر تا ہوں میں
Adl Se Ya Muqsit Darta Hun Main
Fazl Ki Umeed Bas Kar Ta Hun Main
O Muqsit, I tremble before Your justice;
I only place my hopes in Your divine grace.
جمع کر یا جَامعُ دل کو میرے
یا غَنیُ کر دے بے پرواہ مجھے
Jama Kar Ya Jaami Dil Ko Mere
Ya Ghani Kar De Be-Parwah Mujhe
O Jaami, gather my scattered thoughts and heart;
O Ghani, make me independent and carefree.
مجھ کو یا مُغنیِ بے پرواہ بنا
ہو نہ کچھ یا مانع نقصاں میرا
Mujh Ko Ya Mughni Be-Parwah Bana
Ho Na Kuch Ya Maani Nuqsaan Mera
O Mughni, grant me riches of the heart;

جو ضرر یا ضَارْ ہے وہ دور رکھ
نفع سے یا نَافعُ مسرور رکھ
Jo Zarar Ya Zaarr Hai Woh Door Rakh
Nafa Se Ya Naafi Masroor Rakh

کر دے یا نُورُ منور دل میرا
راہ یا ھَادی مجھے سیدھی دکھا

ہے تو یا باَقیُ باقی سدا

Hai Tu Ya Baaqi Baaqi Sada

یا رَشیدُ راہ نیکی کی دکھا
ہر برائی سے قلؔندر کو بچا

یا الہٰی از طفیل مصطفے
