Yak Waqif-e-Asrar-e-Tu Nabwad Ke Bagoyad

There is not a single knower of Your secrets who could speak of them;
Out of the awe of Your mystery, every tongue has been silenced.

ما مرحلہ در مرحلہ رفتن نتوانیم
در وادئے توصیف تو بگستہ عنانہا

Ma Marhala Dar Marhala Raftan Natwanim
Dar Wadi-e-Tauseef-e-Tu Bagsata Ananeha

We cannot travel stage by stage (in this journey);
In the valley of Your praise, the reins of our control have snapped.

حیران تو دلہا و پریشان تو جانہا

Husn-e-Tu Ajeeb Ast Jamal-e-Tu Ghareeb Ast
Hairan-e-Tu Dilha-o-Pareshan-e-Tu Janeha

Your beauty is wondrous and Your grace is extraordinary;
Hearts are left in amazement and souls are left in restless longing for You.

گم در نظر ماست مکینہا و مکانہا

Cheez-e-Nabwad Juz Tu Ke Yak Jalwa Namayad
Gum Dar Nazar-e-Mast Makeenha-o-Makaneha

Nothing exists except You that manifests a single glory;
In my sight, both the dwellers and the dwellings have vanished.

Yak Zarra Nadeedim Ke Nabwad Ze Tu Roshan

We searched for the signs of Your mysteries throughout the world.

صد تیر کہ بر جستہ ز آغوش کمانہا

Yak Teer-e-Nigahat Ra Hum-Sar Natwan Shud
Sadd Teer Ke Bar Jasta Ze Aghosh-e-Kamaneha

A single arrow of Your glance cannot be matched;
By a hundred arrows that have leaped from the embrace of bows.
