In this second part of the Saif-ul-Malook prologue, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh presents a breathtaking vision of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Sultan of all creation. He describes the Prophet ﷺ not only as the intercessor (Shafaat) for the Ummah but as the supreme authority whose light humbles kings and previous prophets alike. From the miracle of the split moon to the presence of Musa and Khidr as heralds in his caravan, these verses are a masterpiece of Ishq-e-Rasool.

Insight: The Sultan and the Shafaat
Mian Muhammad Bakhsh presents the Prophet (ﷺ) as the ultimate refuge. By mentioning Shafaat (Intercession) in the very first verse of this section, he sets the tone for the entire Naat. This intercession is not just a future promise; it is an active authority that extends over both worlds (Doye Jahan).
The mention of Musa (AS) and Isa (AS) serving the Prophet ﷺ highlights the doctrine of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat (Finality of Prophethood). As Alahazrat and Pir Naseer have echoed in their poetry, the entire spiritual universe revolves around the Prophet’s ﷺ mercy, making his intercession the only “Naar se bachne ki soorat” (way to escape the Fire).
