Kaaba To Dekh Chuke Kaabe Ka Kaaba Dekho
O Pilgrims! Come and behold the Resting Place of the Emperor ﷺ,
You have seen the Kaaba; now see the Kaaba of the Kaaba!
رکنِ شامی سے مٹی وحشتِ شامِ غربت
اب مدینہ کو چلو صبحِ دل آرا دیکھو
Rukn-e-Shami Se Mitti Wahshat-e-Shaam-e-Gurbat
Ab Madina Ko Chalo Subha-e-Dilara Dekho
The dread of the lonely evening vanished at the Rukn-e-Shami,
Now head towards Madina and witness the heart-alluring morning.
آبِ زمزم تو پیا خوب بجھائیں پیاسیں
آؤ جودِ شہِ کوثر کا بھی دریا دیکھو
Aab-e-Zamzam To Piya Khoob Bujhayeen Pyasain
Aao Jood-e-Shah-e-Kausar Ka Bhi Dariya Dekho
You drank the water of Zamzam and quenched your thirst,
Now come and see the ocean of generosity of the Master of Kausar ﷺ.
زیرِ میزاب ملے خوب کرم کے چھینٹے
ابرِ رحمت کا یہاں زور سے برسنا دیکھو
Zer-e-Meezab Mile Khoob Karam Ke Cheentay
Abr-e-Rehmat Ka Yahan Zor Se Barasna Dekho
Beneath the golden spout, you received droplets of grace,
Now witness the heavy downpour of the Clouds of Mercy here.
دھوم دیکھی ہے درِ کعبہ پہ بیتابوں کی
ان کے مشتاقوں میں حسرت کا تڑپنا دیکھو
Dhoom Dekhi Hai Dar-e-Kaaba Pe Betabon Ki
Un Ke Mushtaqon Mein Hasrat Ka Tadapna Dekho
You saw the crowds of the restless at the Kaaba’s door,
Now witness the longing and yearning of those who love Him ﷺ.
مثلِ پروانہ پھرا کرتے تھے جس شمع کے گرد
اپنی اس شمع کو پروانہ یہاں کا دیکھو
Misle Parwana Phira Karte Thay Jis Shama Ke Gird
Apni Us Shama Ko Parwana Yahan Ka Dekho
The Lamp (Kaaba) you circled like a moth,
See how that very Lamp is itself a moth here (in Madina)!
خوب آنکھوں سے لگایا ہے غلافِ کعبہ
قصرِ محبوب کے پردے کا بھی جلوہ دیکھو
Khoob Aankhon Se Lagaya Hai Ghilaaf-e-Kaaba
Qasr-e-Mahboob Ke Parde Ka Bhi Jalwa Dekho
You have pressed the cover of the Kaaba to your eyes with devotion,
Now witness the splendor of the curtains of the Beloved’s ﷺ Palace.
واں مطیعوں کا جگر خوف سے پانی پایا
یاں سیاہ کاروں کا دامن پہ مچلنا دیکھو
Wan Mutiyon Ka Jigar Khauf Se Pani Paya
Yan Siyah-Kaaron Ka Daman Pe Machalna Dekho
There, the hearts of the pious melt with Divine Awe,
Here, see the sinners clinging to His ﷺ cloak with hope.
اولیں خانہء حق کی بھی ضیائیں دیکھیں
آخریں بیتِ نبی کا بھی تجلا دیکھو
Awwaleen Khana-e-Haq Ki Bhi Ziyayeen Dekheen
Aakhireen Bait-e-Nabi Ka Bhi Tajalla Dekho
You saw the radiance of the first House of Truth (Kaaba),
Now behold the illumination of the final House of the Prophet ﷺ.
زینتِ کعبہ میں تھا لاکھوں عروسوں کا بناؤ
جلوہ فرما یہاں کونین کا دولہا دیکھو
Zeenat-e-Kaaba Mein Tha Lakhon Arooson Ka Banaw
Jalwa Farma Yahan Kaunain Ka Dulha Dekho
The beauty of the Kaaba was like a hundred thousand brides,
But witness here the Bridegroom of both worlds ﷺ!
ایمنِ طور کا تھا رکنِ یمانی میں فروغ
شعلہء طور یہاں انجمن آرا دیکھو
Ayman-e-Tur Ka Tha Rukn-e-Yamani Mein Faroqh
Shola-e-Tur Yahan Anjuman-Aara Dekho
The light of Mount Tur was reflected in the Rukn-e-Yamani,
But the very Fire of Tur is adorning the assembly here!
مہرِ مادر کا مزہ دیتی ہے آغوشِ حطیم
جن پہ ماں باپ فدا یاں کرم ان کا دیکھو
Mehr-e-Madar Ka Maza Deti Hai Aghosh-e-Hateem
Jin Pe Maa Baap Fida Yan Karam Un Ka Dekho
The Hateem feels like the warmth of a mother’s lap,
But witness the grace of Him ﷺ for whom even parents are sacrificed!
عرضِ حاجت میں رہا کعبہ کفیلُ الحجاج
آؤ اب داد رسیِ شہِ طیبہ دیکھو
Arz-e-Haajat Mein Raha Kaaba Kafeel al-Hujaaj
Aao Ab Daad-Rasi-e-Shah-e-Taybah Dekho
The Kaaba acted as the guarantor for the pilgrims’ requests,
Now come and witness the advocacy of the King of Taybah ﷺ.
دھو چکا ظلمتِ دل بوسہء سنگِ اسود
خاک بوسیِ مدینہ کا بھی رتبہ دیکھو
Dho Chuka Zulmat-e-Dil Bosa-e-Sang-e-Aswad
Khak Bosi-e-Madina Ka Bhi Rutba Dekho
The kissing of the Black Stone washed away the darkness of the heart,
Now witness the status of kissing the sacred dust of Madina.
کر چکی رفعتِ کعبہ پہ نظر پروازیں
ٹوپی اب تھام کے خاکِ درِ والا دیکھو
Kar Chuki Rifat-e-Kaaba Pe Nazar Parwazain
Topi Ab Thaam Ke Khak-e-Dar-e-Wala Dekho
Your eyes soared to see the height of the Kaaba,
Now hold your hat in awe and look at the dust of this Exalted Door!
بے نیازی سے وہاں کانپتی پائی طاعت
جوشِ رحمت پہ یہاں ناز گناہ کا دیکھو
Be-Niyazi Se Wahan Kaanpti Paayi Ta’at
Josh-e-Rehmat Pe Yahan Naaz Gunah Ka Dekho
There, worship trembled before Divine self-sufficiency,
Here, witness the pride of sin due to the surge of Mercy!
جمعہء مکہ تھا عید اہلِ عبادت کے لیے
مجرمو آؤ یہاں عیدِ دوشنبہ دیکھو
Juma-e-Makka Tha Eid Ahle Ibadat Ke Liye
Mujrimo Aao Yahan Eid-e-Doshamba Dekho
Friday in Makkah was an Eid for the worshipers,
O Sinners! Come here and witness the Eid of Monday.
ملتزم سے تو گلے لگ کے نکالے ارماں
ادب و شوق کا یہاں باہم الجھنا دیکھو
Multazim Se To Gale Lag Ke Nikale Armaan
Adab-o-Shauq Ka Yahan Baaham Ulajhna Dekho
You fulfilled your desires by embracing the Multazim,
Now witness the conflict between Respect and Passion here!
خوب مسعیٰ میں بہ امیدِ صفا دوڑ لیے
راہِ جاناں کی صفا کا بھی تماشا دیکھو
Khoob Mas’aa Mein Ba-Umeed-e-Safa Daud Liye
Rah-e-Janaan Ki Safa Ka Bhi Tamasha Dekho
You ran in the Mas’aa in hope of spiritual purity,
Now behold the purity of the path leading to the Beloved ﷺ!
رقصِ بسمل کی بہاریں تو منیٰ میں دیکھیں
دلِ خوں نابہ فشاں کا بھی تڑپنا دیکھو
Raqs-e-Bismil Ki Baharain To Mina Mein Dekheen
Dil-e-Khoon Naba Fishan Ka Bhi Tadapna Dekho
You saw the sacrifice of animals in Mina,
Now witness the throbbing of a heart bleeding with love!
غور سے سن تو رضاؔ کعبہ سے آتی ہے صدا
میری آنکھوں سے میرے پیارے کا روضہ دیکھو
Gaur Se Sun To Raza Kaaba Se Aati Hai Sada
Meri Aankhon Se Mere Pyare Ka Roza Dekho
Listen carefully, O Raza! A voice comes from the Kaaba:
“Through my eyes, behold the Resting Place of my Beloved ﷺ!”
