مری سوئی قسمت جگائی گئی ہے
Lahd Mein Wo Surat Dikhai Gai Hai
Meri Soi Qismat Jagai Gai Hai
That blessed face has been shown in the grave,
My sleeping destiny has been awakened.
نہیں تھا کسی کو جو منظر پہ لانا
تو کیوں بزم عالم سجائی گئی ہے
Nahin Tha Kisi Ko Jo Manzar Pe Lana
To Kyun Bazm-e-Alam Sajai Gai Hai
If no one special was to be brought onto the scene,
Then why was the assembly of the universe decorated?
صبا سے نہ کی جائے کیوں کر محبت
بہت اُن کے کوچے میں آئی گئی ہے
Saba Se Na Ki Jaye Kyun Kar Mohabbat
Bohat Unke Koochay Mein Aai Gai Hai
Why should one not love the morning breeze?
It has visited their blessed street so many times.
وہاں تھی فدا مصر میں اک زلیخا
یہاں صدقے ساری خدائی گئی ہے
Wahan Thi Fida Misr Mein Ek Zulaikha
Yahan Sadqay Saari Khudai Gai Hai
There, in Egypt, only one Zulaikha was devoted (to Yusuf AS),
Here, the entire creation is sacrificed (for the Prophet PBUH).
یہ کیا کم سند ہے مری مغفرت کی
ترے در سے میت اُٹھائی گئی ہے
Yeh Kya Kam Sanad Hai Meri Maghfirat Ki
Tere Dar Se Mayyat Uthai Gai Hai
Is this not enough proof for my forgiveness?
That my funeral procession was lifted from your door.
گنہگار اُمت پہ رحمت کی دولت
سرحشر کھل کر لٹائی گئی ہے
Gunahgar Ummat Pe Rahmat Ki Daulat
Sar-e-Hashar Khul Kar Lutai Gai Hai
Upon the sinful nation, the wealth of mercy
Was distributed openly on the Day of Judgment.
شراب طہور اُن کے دست کرم سے
سرِ حوض کوثر پلائی گئی ہے
Sharab-e-Tahoor Unke Dast-e-Karam Se
Sar-e-Hauz-e-Kausar Pilai Gai Hai
The pure wine, from his generous hand,
Was served at the Pond of Kausar.
تہ خاک ہو شاد کیوں کر نہ اُمت
نبی کی زیارت کرائی گئی ہے
Teh-e-Khaak Ho Shaad Kyun Kar Na Ummat
Nabi Ki Ziyarat Karai Gai Hai
Under the soil, why should the Ummah not be rejoiced?
They have been granted the vision of the Prophet.
کسے تاب نظارہ جالی کے آگے
نظر احتراماً جھکائی گئی ہے
Kise Taab-e-Nazara Jaali Ke Aagay
Nazar Ehtiraman Jhukai Gai Hai
Who has the strength to gaze directly before the grille (of the shrine)?
Eyes are lowered out of deep respect.
لحد سے نصیر اب چلو تم بھی اُٹھ کر
اُنہیں دیکھنے کو خدائی گئی ہے
Lahd Se Naseer Ab Chalo Tum Bhi Uth Kar
Unhein Dekhne Ko Khudai Gai Hai
O Naseer! Rise from the grave and go now,
The entire creation has gone to behold him.
