اس سے وراکے راکب و بینا تمہی تو ہو
Rooh-ul-Ameen Ke Jis Jagah Jaa Kar Qadam Rukay
Is Se Waraa Ke Rakib-o-Beena Tumhi Tou Ho
The station where even Gabriel’s footsteps came to a halt
The Rider and the Witness of what lies beyond are You.
لا ریب غیب داں ہو حیات النبی ہو تم
ذات و صفات حق کا قرینہ تمہی تو ہو
La Raib Ghaib Daan Ho Hayat-un-Nabi Ho Tum
Zaat-o-Siffat-e-Haq Ka Qareena Tumhi Tou Ho
Without doubt, you know the Unseen and possess eternal life
The manifestation of God’s Essence and Attributes are You.
سا رے نبی ہیں جس کی امامت پہ مفتخر
اسس مرتبہ کے اہل حسینا تمہی تو ہو
Saaray Nabi Hain Jis Ki Imamat Pe Muftakhar
Is Martabay Ke Ahl Haseena Tumhi Tou Ho
He in whose leadership all Prophets take immense pride
O Beautiful One, the one worthy of this rank are You.
رحمت ہر اک جہاں پہ تمہاری محیط ہے
رحمت کا بے حساب خزینہ تمہی تو ہو
Rehmat Har Ik Jahaan Pe Tumhari Muheet Hai
Rehmat Ka Be-Hisaab Khazeena Tumhi Tou Ho
Your mercy encompasses every single world in existence
The limitless treasure-house of Mercy are You.
اللہ کو ہے تمہاری شفاعت کا احترام
امت کے عاصیوں کا سفینہ تمہی تو ہو
Allah Ko Hai Tumhari Shafaat Ka Ehtiraam
Ummat Ke Aasiyon Ka Safeena Tumhi Tou Ho
Allah Himself holds Your intercession in high regard
The Ark for the sinners of this Ummah are You.
جس زندگی سے ہے کوئی قائم بہ ذات حق
حقا وہ روح زیست و جینا تمہی تو ہو

The life through which one subsists by the Truth
In reality, the soul of existence and living are You.
جس کے طفیل ساحل و منزل پہ جا لگیں
اے جانِ بحر و بر وہ سفینہ تمہی تو ہو
Jis Ke Tufail Sahil-o-Manzil Pe Jaa Lagein
Ae Jaan-e-Bahr-o-Bar Woh Safeena Tumhi Tou Ho
He through whose sake we reach the shore and the destination
O Soul of the sea and land, that Ark are You.
وہ نور جس سے ذرہ خاوؔر ہو آفتاب
ایسی شعاع نور کا سینہ تمہی تو ہو

Aisi Shuaa-e-Noor Ka Seena Tumhi Tou Ho
The Light that turns the speck of ‘Khawar’ into a sun

In this Naat, Khawar Soharwardy utilizes the concept of Insaaniyat Ka Ouj (The zenith of humanity). This refers to the Sufi doctrine that the Prophet (ﷺ) is the “Perfect Man” (Al-Insan al-Kamil). During the Mairaj (Ascension), his journey beyond the Lote Tree of the Furthest Boundary (Sidrat al-Muntaha)—where even Archangel Gabriel could not pass—demonstrates that the human potential, when perfected through Divine Love, surpasses even the angelic realm.
The metaphor of the Safeena (Ark) is also central here. Just as Noah’s Ark saved humanity from the physical flood, the Prophet’s intercession (Shafaat) is the spiritual vessel that carries the sinners of the Ummah safely to the “shore” of Divine Mercy.
