Zee Haal e Miskeen Makun Taghaful
ز حال مسکین مکن تغافل
ز حال مسکین مکن تغافل ورائے نیناں بنائے بتیاں
کہ تا ب ہجراں ندارم اے جاں نہ لیہو کاہے لگائے چھتیاں
Zeehaal-e miskeen makun taghaful, duraye naina banaye batiyan; ki taab-e hijran nadaram ay jaan, na leho kaahe lagaye chhatiyan.
Do not overlook my misery Blandishing your eyes, and weaving tales; My patience has over-brimmed, O sweetheart, Why do you not take me to your bosom.
شبان ہجراں دراز چوں زلف وروز وصلت چو عمر کوتاہ
سکھی پیا کو جو میں نہ دیکھوں تو کیسے کاٹوں اندھیری رتیاں
Shaban-e hijran daraz chun zulf wa roz-e waslat cho umr kotah; Sakhi piya ko jo main na dekhun to kaise kaatun andheri ratiyan.
The nights of separation are long like tresses, The day of our union is short like life; When I do not get to see my beloved friend, How am I to pass the dark nights?
یکایک از دل دو چشم جادو بصد فریبم ببردتسکیں
کسے پڑی ہے جو جا سناوے پیارے پی کو ہماری بتیاں
Yakayak az dil do chashm-e jadoo basad farebam baburd taskin; Kise pari hai jo jaa sunaave piyare pi ko hamaari batiyan.
Suddenly, as if the heart, by two enchanting eyes Is beset by a thousand deceptions and robbed of tranquility; But who cares enough to go and report To my darling my state of affairs?
چو شمع سوزاں چو زرہ حیراں ز مہر آن مہ بگشتم آخر
نہ نیند نیناں ، نہ انگ چیناں نہ آپ آیئں نہ بھیجیں پتیاں
Cho shama sozan cho zarra hairan hamesha giryan be ishq aan meh; Na neend naina na ang chaina Na aap aaven na bhejen patiyan.
The lamp is aflame; every atom excited I roam, always, afire with love; Neither sleep to my eyes, nor peace for my body, neither comes himself, nor sends any messages
بحق روز وصال دلبر کہ داد مارا فریب خسرو
سپت منکے ورائے راکھوں جو جائےپاوں پیا کہ کھتیاں
Bahaqq-e roz-e wisal-e dilbar ki daad mara ghareeb Khusrau; Sapet man ke waraaye raakhun jo jaaye paaon piya ke khatiyan.
In honour of the day of union with the beloved who has lured me so long, O Khusrau; I shall keep my heart suppressed, if ever I get a chance to get to his place
Zameen O Zamaan Tumharey Liye Makeen O Makaan Tumharey Liye زمین و زماں تمہارے لئےمکین و مکاں تمہارے لئے
زمین و زماں تمہارے لئے مکین و مکاں تمہارے لئے چنین و چناں تمہارے لئے بنے دو جہاں تمہارے لئے
The earth and the age are made for thy sake; the dwellers and their abodes are made for you The ‘why’ and ‘how’ (knowledge) is there for you; this world and the next are also for you!
دہن میں زباں تمہارے لئے بدن میں ہے جاں تمہارے لئے ہم آئے یہاں تمہارے لئےاٹھیں گے وہاں تمہارے لئے
The tongue in the mouth is made for you; this soul in our bodies is made for you We came here for the sake of you; we will rise on the judgement for you.
فرشتے خدم رسول حشم تمام امم غلام کرم وجود و عدم حدوث و قدم جہاں میں عیاں تمہارے لئے
کلیم و نجی مسیح و صفی خلیل و رضی رسول نبی عتیق و وصی غنی و علی ثنا کی زباں تمہارے لئے
Musa, Nuh, Isa, Adam, Ibrahim, Ismail; all the Messengers and all the Prophets, Abu Bakr and Úmar; Uthman and Ali , Every one apraised you!
اصالت کل امامت کل سیادت کل امارت کل حکومت کل ولائت کل خدا کے یہاں تمہارے لئے
تمہاری چمک تمہاری دمک تمہاری جھلک تمہاری مہک زمین و فلک سماک و سمک میں سکہ نشاں تمہارے لئے
It is your light; and your radiance; it is thy sparkle and thy perfume in the earth and in the heavens; in the stars and the skies.
وہ کنز نہاں یہ نور فشاں وہ کُن سے عیاں یہ بزم فکاں یہ ہر تن و جاں یہ باغ جناں یہ سارا سماں تمہارے لئے
ظہور نہاں قیام جہاں رکوع مہاں سجود شہاں نیازیں یہاں نمازیں وہاں یہ کس کے لئے ہاں تمہارے لئے
یہ شمس و قمر یہ شام و سحر یہ برگ و شجر یہ باغ و ثمر یہ تیغ و سپر یہ تاج و کمر یہ حکم رواں تمہارے لئے
For you is this sun; and thine is the moon; this night and the day; the plants and the trees; the gardens and fruits For you is the sword, for you the soldier; the crown and the power are all for thee.
یہ فیض دیئے وہ جود کئے کہ نام لئے زمانہ جئے جہاں نے لئے تمہارے دیئے یہ امیاں تمہارے لئے
These blessings and grants; your favors abound; the world lives on by uttering your name The world taken your charity; and all these honors are granted for thy sake!
سحاب کرم روا نہ کئے کہ آب نعم زمانہ پئے جو رکھتے تھے ہم وہ چاک سئے یہ ستر بداں تمہارے لئے
You sent the clouds of mercy for the world to drink in the water of blessings You mended the tears in our clothes, and covered our shame, our sins for us.
ثنا کا نشاں وہ نور فشاں کہ مہرو شاں بآں ہمہ شاں بسا یہ کشاں مواکب شاں یہ نام و نشاں تمہارے لئے
عطائے ارب جلائے کرب فیوض عجب بغیر طلب یہ رحمت رب ہے کس کے سبب برب جہاں تمہارے لئے
Billions of bounties; banishing our agony; and wondrous blessings without even asking All this mercy of the Lord is for whose sake? From the Lord of the Worlds , just because of YOU!
ذنوب فنا عیوب ہبا قلوب صفا خطوب روا یہ خوب عطا کروب زوا پئے دل و جاں تمہارے لئے
نہ جن و بشر کہ آٹھ پہر ملائکہ در پہ بستہ کمر نہ جبین و سر کہ قلب و جگر ہیں سجدہ کناں تمہارے لئے
Not just men and jinn; but angels too throughout the day [and night] stand in your service It is not foreheads and heads that prostrate; but our hearts that fall down in reverence for You!
نہ روح الامیں نہ عرش بریں نہ لوح مبیں کوئ بھی کہیں خبر ہی نہیں جو رمزکھلیں ازل کی نہاں تمہارے لئے
جناں میں چمن چمن میں سمن سمن میں پھبن پھبن میں دلہن سزائے محن پہ ایسے منن یہ امن و اماں تمہارے لئے
Gardens in paradise; and in those gardens are groves; and the groves are adorned and in those adornments are beautiful brides! The fruit of labor is thus rewarded! tranquillity and peace is thus granted for thy sake!
کمال مہاں جلال شہاں جمال حساں میں تم ہو عیاں کہ سارے جہاں بروز فکاں ظل آیئنہ ساں تمہارے لئے
یہ طور کجا سپہر تو کیا کہ عرش علا بھی دور رہا جہت سے ورا وصال ملا یہ رفعت شاں تمہارے لئے
خلیل و نجی مسیح و صفی سبھی سے کہی کہیں بھی بنی یہ بے خبری کہ خلق پھری کہاں سے کہاں تمہارے لئے
Ibrahim, Nuh; Isa and Adam; we went to all of them to help us but they couldn’t And the entire creation is made to turn towards thee, and this glory is only for thee!
بفور صدا سماں یہ بندھا یہ سدررہ اٹھا وہ عرش جھکا صفوف سما نے سجدہ کیا ہوئی جو اذاں تمہارے لئے
یہ مرحمتیں کہ چکی متیں نچھوڑیں لتیں نہ اپنی گتیں قصور کریں اور ان سے بھریں قصور جناں تمہارے لئے
فنا بدرت بقا بپرت ز ہر دو جہت بگرد سرت ہے مرکزیت تمہاری صفت کہ دونوں کماں تمہارے لئے
اشارے سے چاند چیر دیا چھپے ہوئےخور کو پھیر دیا گئےہوئےدن کو عصر کیا یہ تاب و تواں تمہارے لئے
You split the moon with a gesture; you brought back the sun You restored the day back to evening after it had set; these lights and illumination are all for thee!
صبا وہ چلے کہ باغ پھلے وہ پھول کھلے کہ دن ہوں بھلے لوا کہ تلےثنا میں کھلے رضا کی زباں تمہارے لئے
The swift breeze blows for the gardens to blossom; the flowers bloom to please our days Under the Flag[on the Judgement Day], may Raza’s mouth open only to praise You!
