The madness of Love (for the Divine) remains no more;
In the veins of Muslims, that (passionate) blood remains no more.
صفیں کج، دل پریشاں، سجدہ بے ذوق
کہ جذبِ اندروں باقی نہیں ہے

Ke Jazb-e-Andaroon Baqi Nahin Hai
نماز کی صفیں ٹیڑھی ہیں، دل پریشان ہیں اور سجدوں میں وہ لذت نہیں
کیونکہ روح کا وہ اندرونی جذبہ اب باقی نہیں رہا
The ranks are crooked, hearts are distracted, and prostrations lack joy;
Because that inner pull (spiritual ecstasy) remains no more.
Spiritual Significance
Iqbal uses the imagery of the prayer hall to describe a deeper crisis. “Safain Kaj” (crooked rows) symbolizes a lack of social and political unity, while “Sajda Be-Zauq” refers to a mechanical, heartless approach to religion. He argues that without Jazb-e-Andaroon (inner passion), the outward rituals of faith become hollow.
