ادا پر تری دل ہے آنے کے قابل

Ada Par Teri Dil Hai Aanay Ke Qabil
Meri Jaan Hai Tujh Pe Jaanay Ke Qabil
Your grace is such that the heart is compelled to fall for it;
My life is worthy of being sacrificed for You.
انہیں کو چنا چن کے بجلی نے پھونکا
وہ تنکے جو تھے آشیانے کے قابل
Inheen Ko Chuna Chun Ke Bijli Ne Phonka
Woh Tinkay Jo Thay Ashiyanay Ke Qabil
The lightning chose to strike and burn only those;
Those straws which were worthy of building a nest.
ترے مصحفِ رخ کو اللہ رکھے
یہ قرآں ہے ایمان لانے کے قابل
Teray Mushaf-e-Rukh Ko Allah Rakhay
Yeh Quran Hai Imaan Laanay Ke Qabil
May Allah preserve the scripture of Your face;
This is a ‘Quran’ worthy of one’s absolute faith.

چھپاتے تھے جب تھا چھپانے کے قابل
Hua Raaz-e-Dil Sab Pe Zahir To Ab Kya

We kept it hidden as long as it was worth hiding.
جبیں مدتوں سے لئے پھر رہی ہے
جو سجدے ہیں اس آستانے کے قابل
Jabeen Muddaton Se Liye Phir Rahi Hai
Jo Sajday Hain Is Aastanay Ke Qabil
My forehead has been carrying for ages;
Those prostrations that are worthy of Your threshold.
جگر ہو کہ دل ناوکِ نازِ جاناں
یہ دونوں ہیں تیرے نشانے کے قابل
Jigar Ho Ke Dil Naawak-e-Naaz-e-Janan
Yeh Dono Hain Teray Nishanay Ke Qabil
Be it the liver or the heart, O arrow of the Beloved’s grace;
Both are worthy of being Your target.
میں بیدمؔ اسی بات پہ مٹ رہا ہوں
کہ وہ مجھ کو سمجھے مٹانے کے قابل
Main Bedam Issi Baat Pe Mit Raha Hoon
Ke Woh Mujh Ko Samjhay Mitanay Ke Qabil
I, Bedam, am losing myself in this very thought;
That the Beloved deemed me worthy of being annihilated in His love.
