Zarre Zarre Mein Tu Wahdahoo Wahdahoo: Allama Riaz-ud-Din Soharwardy
Section 1: The Call of Creation
Zarre Zarre Mein Tu Wahdahoo Wahdahoo
Hai Sada Char Su Wahdahoo Wahdahoo
In every single atom You reside, “He is One, He is One”
The cry of Oneness echoes in all four directions.
Section 2: The Universal Conversation
Sari Makhlooq Ke Lab Pe Hai Raat Din
Teri Hi Guftago Wahdahoo Wahdahoo
On the lips of all creation, day and night
There is only the conversation of Your Oneness.
Section 3: The Purity of the Devotee
Tere Darr Se Jo Roti Hai Us Aankh Ka
Ho Gaya Hai Wuzu Wahdahoo Wahdahoo
The eye that weeps in the awe of Your presence
Has attained its spiritual ablution through Your Oneness.
Section 4: The Mirror of Light
Surat-e-Mustafa Mein Hua Jalwa Gar
Khud Hi Tu Hu-ba-Hu Wahdahoo Wahdahoo
You manifested Your glory in the beautiful form of Mustafa ﷺ
A perfect and exact reflection of Your own Oneness.
Section 5: The Departure of Riaz
Jaon Duniya Se Jab Ho Labon Pe Riaz
Allah Hoo Allah Hoo Wahdahoo Wahdahoo
When Riaz departs from this world, may there be on his lips
“Allah Hoo, Allah Hoo”—He is One, He is One.
Insight: The Suhrawardi Vision of Wahdahoo
Allama Soharwardy captures the essence of Wahdat-ul-Wajood in this Hamd. He describes the Prophet ﷺ not just as a messenger, but as the Hu-ba-Hu (exact) manifestation of Divine Light. The wish for the final breath to be a rhythmic Dhikr of Allah Hoo is the ultimate goal of the Suhrawardi path, where the individual ego fades into the eternal “Wahdahoo.”
