He watches everyone, yet He is concealed from everyone;
Like the light of the eye, He is hidden within the veils of the eyes.

Chashm-e-Na Beena Se Parda Hai To Kuch Beeja Nahin
Aankh Walon Se Bhi Woh Jaan-e-Jahan Poshida Hai

If He is veiled from the blind eye, it is not surprising;
But even from those with sight, the Soul of the World remains hidden.

When nothing exists besides the one Absolute Being;
Who then is the “other,” and from whom can anyone be hidden?

آ گلے مل لیں بس اتنی بات پر رنجیدہ ہے

Haye Woh Kehna Kisi Ka Bazm Mein Phela Ke Haath
Aa Galay Mil Lein Bas Itni Baat Par Ranjeeda Hai

Oh, the way someone said in the gathering, with arms outstretched:
“Come, let us embrace”—are you upset over such a small thing?

The search, O Bedam, is for Him whose manifestation is the heart;
He is hidden from us, yet He is the very light of our eyes.
