“Zabani Kalma Har Koi Parhda” is a foundational Abyat by Hazrat Sultan Bahoo. It highlights the core Qadri Sufi doctrine: the distinction between the “Zabani” (verbal) recitation and the “Qalbi” (heart-centered) realization of faith.
زبانی کلمہ ہر کوئی پڑھدا
دل دا پڑھدا کوئی ہُو
جتھے کلمہ دل دا پڑھیئے
اوتھے ملے زبان نہ ڈھوئی ہُو
Zabani Kalma Har Koi Parhda
Dil Da Parhda Koi Hoo
Jithay Kalma Dil Da Parhiyeah
Othay Milay Zaban Na Dhooi Hoo
Everyone recites the Kalma with the tongue
But few are those who recite it with the heart
Where the Kalma of the heart is truly recited
The mere tongue finds no room or shelter
دل دا کلمہ عاشق پڑھدے
کیہ جانن یار گلوئی ہُو
ایہہ کلمہ اسانوں پیر پڑھایا
باہو میں سدا سہاگن ہوئی ہُو
Dil Da Kalma Ashiq Parhdey
Ki Janan Yaar Galoee Hoo
Ayeah Kalma Asaanu Pir ParHaya
Bahoo Mein Sada Suhagan Hoyi Hoo
True lovers recite the Kalma of the heart
What do the mere talkers know of this state?
My Master (Pir) taught me this secret Kalma
O Bahoo, I have become an ever-blessed bride of the Divine
