عطا اسلاف کا جذبِ دروں کر
شریک زمرۂ لاَ یَحزنُوں کر
Atta Islaaf Ka Jazb e Droon Kar
Shareek-e-Zumra-e-La Yahzanoon Kar
مجھے میرے بزرگوں والا قلبی سوز و عشق عطا کر
اور مجھے ان لوگوں کے گروہ میں شامل کر جنہیں کوئی غم نہیں
Grant me the inner passion of my pious ancestors;
Make me part of that group who “shall not grieve.”
خرد کی گتھیاں سلجا چکا میں
میرے مولا مجھے صاحب جنوں کر
Khirad Ki Gutthiyan Suljha Chuka Main
Mere Maula Mujhe Sahab-e-Junoon Kar
میں عقل کی تمام گتھیاں سلجھا چکا ہوں
اے میرے رب! اب مجھے صاحبِ جنوں (عشقِ حقیقی کا دیوانہ) کر دے
I have already unravelled all the tangles of the intellect;
My Lord! Now bless me with the ecstasy of divine passion.
